Federal Loans More Aid: Scholarships & Work-Study Programs | Private Loans

There are many financial aid programs to help you afford the education you desire. Programs range from free grants to loans for those with or without credit history.

FEDERAL STUDENT LOANS

Great News!
It is our desire and intent to be a participant in the 2008-09 lending season. Our timelines for when we will determine borrower benefits, accept applications, and disburse funds will be dictated by the details of the program when they are released by the Department of Education.

Federal Stafford Subsidized/Unsubsidized Loans

A federally sponsored student loan program available to assist the needs of undergraduate and graduate students. First time borrowers must complete a Stafford Master Promissory Note (MPN). The MPN specifies the school you plan to attend, your lender (enter AFC) and other necessary personal information. The instructions for how to obtain and where to return the Stafford Master Promissory Note vary depending on the school you are attending. You will receive specific instructions once your financial aid has been awarded.

PLUS Loans (Federal Parent Loan for undergraduate Students)

The PLUS Loan is a federally sponsored loan for parents of students and is available at schools participating in the FFELP. PLUS loans offer an alternative for parents whose financial resources are insufficient to cover education costs.

GradPLUS Loans (Federal Grad Loan for Graduate Students)

The GradPLUS Loan is a federally sponsored loan for graduate/professional students and is available at schools participating in the FFELP. Graduate students can borrow PLUS to supplement their subsidized and unsubsidized Stafford Loans.
